On March 28, Daniel Gross appeared at the speaker series sponsored by the Streicker Center at Temple Emanuel in New York. Gross was one of three speakers in a series about Jewish dynasties. He was interviewed by journalist and Academy-Award winning filmmaker Elinor Burkett.

He was a wonderful, engaging speaker who led our audience on a fascinating journey into a Jewish dynasty about which few knew anything. He opened up our view of the diversity of the Jewish experience, limning Safra’s unique approach to navigating the world of high finance as a Jew, his is willingness to acculturate but not assimilate. Gross brought Edmond and his world to life, provoked endless questions and, as a Safra niece in the audience wrote us, “making us proud to be Safras.”
