Tel Aviv University

More than 150 university students gathered at Tel Aviv University to learn more about the life and legacy of Edmond J. Safra. The Friday morning event was coordinated together with ISEF, The Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics and The Edmond J. Safra Center for Ethics at Tel AvivUniversity. The group of undergraduate, graduate, doctoral and post-doc fellows – all grant recipients of ISEF – arrived from all around the country. They were greeted by Galit Caspi-Cohen, CEO of ISEF, Prof. Ron Shamir, a well-respected researcher, and founder and head of the Edmond J. Safra Center for Bioinformatics at Tel Aviv University.

The students appreciated hearing about Mr. Safra’s life story, as presented by Dan Gross. They then had the opportunity to ask the author questions about his writing process, the principles that led to Mr. Safra’s success, and advice for young people. The students were very happy to receive a signed copy of the book, as well!
